In My Experience

“Our soul is like a mirror; the depths of the pain we feel in the moment is commensurate to the significance of the impact the person has in our life.”
– James Yang

Your Deep Squats (Thoughts)

Thank you to everyone that participated in the memorial workout for James. We had a beautiful outpouring of emotion before, during and after the workout which is titled, “SO GOOD”. This will be a new CFPA Benchmark to be programmed at regular intervals.

The topic of “Recomendations” has come up in class recently. I referenced early emails I’ve sent with my personal choices for sleep products. The rebuff was that they were not members three years ago. Touche. So, here are a few of my favorite things to recommend for a better night’s sleep.

The Eight Sleep Pod Cover has been rated as “The Best Gift” I have ever given to Kristen. (My wife.) It’s a mattress topper that has programmable temperatures to optimize your sleeping. It has saved us money by allowing the window to stay closed in the winter and saved us from a lot of fighting over bed coverings. Use this link for a $350 discount: http://refer.eight.sl/nmtxsktg

The The Pillow Cube. It’s kinda funny to say you use a squared/cubed pillow. But it’s worth it. Good for side sleepers and those that get those neck/shoulder “sleep injuries”. 4 out of 4 in our house use pillow cubes. The Pillow Cube website may be sold out. You can also find plenty of copycats on Amazon.

Blackout Shades. Almost anything works here. Just get your room as dark as possible, including covering/eliminating small lights, clocks, etc.

Magnesium Glycinate can help you relax when taken 30 minutes before bed. I take 2 capsules from Thorne and have some very creative dreams!

I don’t have a favorite brand of sheets to recommend. We use a down comforter that insulates well with the 8Sleep system.

See you in class.
Tim

Best Medicine

Brilliant and brusque, esteemed doctor Martin Best leaves his prestigious career in Boston to become a local practitioner at a coastal village in Maine.

Tim’s Takeaway: Northern Exposure and Doc Hollywood come to mind when we started watching this series on Netflix. The early episode humor is LOL funny. (That’s not Lots of Love) The drama kicks in midway through the series, but still plenty of laughs. Another feel good watch. Bonus points if you can tell me the CFPA member that is a doppelganger for a character in the show.

Thank you for your support.

I look forward to what we will do together.
