On Saturday, we had a small group attend a community workout at the site of The 2026 CrossFit Games, The SAP Center in San Jose. They will happen July 24-26 and we’ll keep you updated as details come out. Basically, you want to be in the stands and get the Games Experience and this is an amazing opportunity to have it here in our backyard. There were Games champions there and a whole lot of local affiliates representing. I enjoyed doing the workout with Natalie for a partner. The purpose was to build some hype for The Games and it worked. I am more fired up to attend this year than I have been in a LONG time.

A cool part of the CrossFit Games is that your Open participation has a direct impact on The Games. The money collected from registration provides the prize purse for the athletes. So the more that register, the more they win. How cool is that?!

I’ve started putting on the full court press to get you signed up for The Open. Here’s another angle. CrossFit Affiliate owners talk a lot of trash to each other. Since everyone already knows that CFPA has the best movers and the best jokes, it stands to reason that we should have a high ranking of Open registrations. Please help your owner (ME) brag about his gym even more by pumping up our registration numbers.
