I have been traveling a lot this year. With more to come. So I’m getting all kinds of exposure to things outside of my safe little bubble here in Silicon Valley.
And now you get to see some what grabbed my attention. Let’s begin.
Pillow Fight Championship is a real thing. I had to do a double take and google search to confirm it. But this is a thing!
I love eating in local diners when traveling. You never know when you’ll find a unique item that blows you away. Banana Granola and Honey Pancakes were highly rated by Luke at The Diamond Cafe in Northborough, Massachusetts. It’s also where I heard incredible background music. At first I thought the bands were AI doing cover songs, but they appear to be legit artists doing cover songs. The waitress shared the playist with me. Check out Popular Songs Covered in Jazz Style.

Many of you have been here long enough to have an opinion on jumping rope. We do singles, doubles, crossovers and running with ropes. Regardless of where you are in your relationship and journey with jumping rope, it can always be better. There are a LOT of companies out there. I’ve always liked Rx Smart Gear. We use the original version in the gym with the Elite 2.6 size of cable. Personally, I like the EVO rope with the thinnest, uncoated cable. Some of my family like RPM ropes. Rebecca also has a lot of experience with RPM.
Bottom line, do yourself a favor and get a rope sized specifically for you. It’s also fun to customize your own with colors, cables, etc. Treat it well and it will treat you well for years. I have a rope that’s lasted since the summer of 2017.
And the RX Smart Gear youtube channel has LOTS of tutorials to learn from.
