Forging Elite Fitness

“Care deeply.”

Deep Squats (Thoughts)
Some say CrossFit lost its way in 2020 with some erratic actions taken by the Founder/CEO. Some say it started years before with the firing of the Media team and removal of CrossFit from social media channels in 2018.
Regardless, the local gyms, like ours, have fought long and hard for the same thing since OUR Day One. That is for the everyday person to forge an elite level of fitness to do whatever they want, whenever they want, as fast as they want for as long as they want. CrossFit HQ has launched a new campaign around the original core values of CrossFit. Here’s some of that material.
-The Return of Forging Elite Fitness-
It was never about ability. It’s about willingness.
With the campaign CrossFit Is the Cure, we put a stake in the ground and reminded the world who we are, and that we’re not going anywhere.
There was a shift in energy and momentum within the CrossFit ecosystem and you can see it across social media channels, at events and inside affiliates around the world. And now, we’re ready for the next chapter. A capstone of everything we’ve been highlighting and a send off back to core ethos of CrossFit:
Forging Elite Fitness.
This is a re-commitment to who we are, who we’ve always been. The bold, the unapologetic, the willing. It was never about ability, it has always been about willingness — to show up, do the work, and keep progressing. Because we believe human beings are meant to move, grow, refine, and live out the fullest expression of their health.
Forging Elite Fitness isn’t new. It’s part of our DNA, a phrase that defined our early years and captures everything we stand for. Now it’s back at the forefront, leading us forward and uniting our community under one mission.
What Is Fitness? is the article in The CrossFit Journal that defines the goal of CrossFit as a methodology and acts as the cornerstone to the whole ecosystem. I think the return to Forging Elite Fitness is a return to the core principles laid out in this article.
See you in class.

Materialists is a 2025 American romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by Celine Song. The film stars Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal. Set against the backdrop of New York City’s luxury-driven dating culture, it follows a love triangle among a matchmaker, her aspiring actor ex-boyfriend, and a charming millionaire.
Tim’s Takeaway: I watched this on the plane this weekend. Not quite a Matthew McConaughey or Glen Powell RomCom. But, it was pleasant to watch. A few different twists to an otherwise standard plot line. Besides, I HAD to watch a movie starring Pedro Pascal who is a doppleganger to our own Adi from 12pm.
Thank you for your support.
I look forward to what we will do together.
