It’s Never Too Late

“There are people that are 2.0 smart and people that are 4.0 stupid.”
– Michael Lewis
Deep Squats (Thoughts)
The running bug is biting these days. We have a running group on Sundays. (Details below) And we have a race report from Jerry, Janine, Dana and Jason who took part in the Tiburon Courage Over Cancer 5k and 10k this past weekend.
We also have a “check-in” from Kamini who is in France taking on the Trail du Mont Blanc over the course of multiple days.
It seems people that do CrossFit tend to pursue and tackle lots of outside challenges. Or is it vice versa? Regardless, I want to encourage you to find new and creative ways to use your fitness and work capacity. Then, share it with me so I can share it with others.
Maybe it will help you to know that by sharing your stories you are helping to inspire so many more. Be generous with your exploits and proud of your accomplishments. You have earned them.
That’s it this week. Get out there and get after it.
See you in class.
Tim

The Other Talent by: Matt Fitzgerald
On the playing field, natural talent isn’t enough—there’s a mental component that determines whether athletes win the race or wipe out before the finish line. But what separates standout sports stars from the rest?
Tim’s Takeaway: Screw Loose. S#!t Together. This will all make sense when you read/listen to this book. I love Matt’s style of storytelling to make a point. This whole book is inspiring and a GREAT follow-up to “How Bad Do You Want It?” which is an earlier book I recommended. Bonus takeaway: It’s never too late.
Thank you for your support.
I look forward to what we will do together.
