The CrossFit Effect

“You’re not making a living, you’re making a difference.”
– John O’Sullivan

Deep Squats (Thoughts)

WE GAVE AWAY THE SECRETS. HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED.

They said knowledge was something to protect. So we did the opposite.

We put our method out there, for free, every single day. Not because we didn’t value it. Because we knew where the real value lived.

Not in secrecy. In coaching. In standards. In understanding why.

So we taught. And then we taught some more.

People stopped being followers. They became teachers. Leaders. Community builders.

That’s The CrossFit Effect. And it has been building for over 25 years.

See you in class.

Home: A Memoir of My Early Years by Julie Andrews

Julie takes her readers on a warm, moving, and often humorous journey from a difficult upbringing in war-torn Britain to the brink of international stardom in America. Her memoir begins in 1935, when Julie was born to an aspiring vaudevillian mother and a teacher father, and takes readers to 1962, when Walt Disney himself saw her on Broadway and cast her as the world’s most famous nanny.

Tim’s Takeaway: First off, she reads her own autobiography, so we get her amazing voice telling her story. Julie Andrews describes some pretty humble beginnings but there is almost no doubting why she was so successful. She is strong and resilient from a lifetime of hard work on her craft.
