Hook, Line and Freedom

Deep Squats (Thoughts)
Another celebration of Fitness and Freedom happened on Saturday. Thank you for those that came out. We missed you if you missed it.
There was the usual order in the chaos. Teams overcame so many challenges in the course of one workout with laughter and determination. Experience pays off in these workouts and now each of these attendees will be able to help more newbies next year.
This is part of the theme I considered for today. Your experience with CrossFit benefits you. You’re stronger, more confident and more skilled. And when new members show up it is the people in class that welcome them, show them the way and encourage them. Sometimes with words and all the time with actions. You’re also carrying all these improvements to everyone you contact in “the real world.”
We all come to CrossFit Palo Alto with a different backstory. We have lots of ages, ethnicities, occupations, etc. One of my favorite things I love the about CrossFit is if you want to come to learn and participate in CrossFit, then you are welcomed as a CrossFitter. Regardless of your differences from anyone else.
Our unity as CrossFitters was on display on Saturday. This spirit is part of what I think makes America so awesome. All of our individualness was brought together for shared purpose. In the end we got better and had fun. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Thank you for being a part.
See you in class.
Tim

Tim’s Takeaway:
I went through periods of taking creatine and not when I was training to compete in CrossFit. I wish I had kept taking it. Now I know so much more science and benefits to taking it. I even dose my kids as much as I can. 😉
AND, it’s so cheap in relation to every other vitamin, supplement, etc. I take 5g in the morning with my breakfast routine and 5g at night with dinner.
Thank you for your support.
I look forward to what we will do together.
