Are You Ready For The Summer?

What I appreciate about CrossFit Palo Alto is that I don’t need to rely on “getting motivated” now. I just go. CrossFit motivates me.

No matter what’s happening in life and the latest dramas, whether I’m exhausted, gotten no sleep, recovering from foot procedures, challenged in life, swamped/stressed, whatever … I just walk out the door and go to CrossFit.

When I started out 13 years ago, CrossFit was something I had to find motivation for; I was not consistent about attending class (especially when I was exhausted with young kids for so many years.). There were plenty of times when I gave myself a “pass”. Over time, going has become habit and a routine I look forward to. CrossFit is intricately woven into the fabric of my life.

It’s not easy and sometimes brutal, but also fun. I know I’ll always be happy I dedicated the time and effort. It may be the only place all week someone (insert coach name) “calls me out” on something or says “good job”. I love that in the gym we’re all there for each other. Also, I’m so glad I started the CrossFit Open two years ago because I’ve missed competing! Whatever life throws at me, CrossFit helps give me the resolve I need to tackle it. Putting in the work and seeing the results is motivating, because I’m still getting better at CrossFit! And that feels awesome.

Meatballs: The Movie

Start your summer off right, according to Coaches Andrew and Ali.

“Wacky hijinks of counselors and campers at a less-than-average summer camp.”

Tim’s Takeaway: An absolute classic. I’ll be educating the kids on this one. It’s included on Amazon Prime. Click the photo or the Title to go right to it.

Thank you for your support.

I look forward to what we will do together.
