Tim’s Deep Squats (Thoughts)

We had a blast with 24.2!!!

Congrats to Coach Andrew for guessing closest to the actual workout. Get your guess in on Instagram or Facebook to be eligible to win. Or send me an email if you’re shy.

70+ people completed 24.2 on Saturday. It was a tough workout, as expected, but it is always so fun to see everyone give 100% effort in the workout and in the support of others.

I get so into cheering everyone on and forget to take a lot of photos. But, I was able to post some from 24.1 HERE and 24.2 HERE.

CrossFit Open WEEK 3

Man’s Search for Meaning by: Viktor Frankl

Psychiatrist Viktor Frankl’s memoir has riveted generations of readers with its descriptions of life in Nazi death camps and its lessons for spiritual survival. Based on his own experience and the stories of his patients, Frankl argues that we cannot avoid suffering but we can choose how to cope with it, find meaning in it, and move forward with renewed purpose.

At the heart of his theory, known as logotherapy, is a conviction that the primary human drive is not pleasure but the pursuit of what we find meaningful. Man’s Search for Meaning has become one of the most influential books in America; it continues to inspire us all to find significance in the very act of living.

Tim’s Takeaway: I am as guilty as anyone in searching for the meaning of life. This book was a good reminder to keep the focus on living a life of meaning.

Send me your influences. Music? Books? Movies? Series?
